Mantis is a fun and challenging exercise routine as well as a great alternative to traditional gym workouts. Our adults classes build strength, endurance, flexibility, and coordination. Students learn about the history and philosophy of the art of JKD and Kali and grow to appreciate both its origins and meaning in their own lives. Regardless of whether you want to become more physically fit, increase flexibility, learn self-defence techniques, or engage in a fun and challenging activity, we have the program for you. We have also conducted classes on Personal Safety & Self Defense for Women/Girls and Basic First Aid and CPR for Teens, starting with groups as small as 4 students.
For corporate team building events martial arts training brings more than just the physical rewards of increased stamina, mental focus, coordination, balance and flexibility. Our Mantis students also develop discipline, focus, respect for others and goal setting skills. We are happy to co-organize your event for 3-digit numbers of participants.
In 2020, we launched a 2-day course called Surviving Active Shooter, Terrorist Attacks and Explosion Awareness Training, which is accredited by the International Anti-Terrorism Professionals Association (IATPA), an independent and international organization dedicated to education, engagement and enhancement of anti-terrorism professionals around the world. The course features both theoretical and physical training, with the aim of broadening your awareness of personal safety in the content of an active shooter and other unexpected, life-threatening events. We cover the options you can take and how to devise the best plan in various scenarios, including how to help those around you. This course is offered on-demand, and can be tailored for educational institutions, companies, NGOs and even families.
